Summer is a little over a month away, but we are ready to break out the hot savings! As of May 15th, OSI International is offering up to $50 off when you trade-in your old voice pager and charger for a brand new WatchDog or WatchDog LT pager.

It may be time for new batteries.

Battery life may be affected after 12-18 months of use, so it is recommended that batteries be replaced at regular intervals to maintain optimum pager performance. We are offering a summertime deal of a set of 3 batteries (1100 mAH) for only $4.50.

We also have a firmware upgrade available that will significantly increase battery life. If you are hearing rumblings of anyone experiencing problems with battery life, they may send their pagers in to get the firmware upgraded free of charge.

You can check the current firmware on the WatchDog Pager fairly easily:

1. Turn off the WatchDog
2. While holding down the reset button on the top of the pager, turn the unit back on
3. The current version of firmware will display on the screen.

The screen should display V5.20. If this is not the case, you may want to consider sending in your pager for a free upgrade. We want all of our pagers performing at their full capacity to keep our customers happy.
